Stefanie Gordon had no clue she would record history today. She boarded a plane in NYC to Palm Beach, and was told by the pilot that the plane might be able to see the shuttle launch.
Well, she snapped a few pictures with her iPhone that have gone viral in hours.
Here's a video she also took:
She made history today. She has gained 2,000 followers on twitter since posting it, and been retweeted by NASA, as well as thousands of others!
She got calls from ABC, the BBC, and CNN a few hours after posting the pictures. The way this story spread is simply incredible!
Other people on the plane took pictures, but apparently she was the only one to post it to twitter.
"To be able to see the last shuttle launch of the Endeavour was awe inspiring, and to have a different view of it was just amazing," she says.
She even used this amazing opportunity to help her out, by posting a link to her LinkedIn resume!
You have no clue what effect the things you put on the internet! In some ways, like Ms Gordon, it is a good thing. Sometimes, it can be a bad effect, like with Charlie Sheen .
