As you can see, I have updated the look of the site. I felt like the old look was great, but it was time for a change.

And when it is time to change, there is nothing worse than to be the last to know.
If you wait too long, you are deemed obsolete and forgotten.  But if you are too early, you are many times dismissed because it is so hard to keep up.

I love change.  My wife, does not.  To her, change is an evil monster bent on world domination.  You'd think Facebook was shoving bamboo up her fingernails with all their changing.  But together, we even each other out quite nicely.  I attempt to jump on the newest everything.  Websites, social media, technology, movies.  Which means I tend to bounce around like one of those little toy robots that continues running into walls and turning into another.

Change is everywhere.  Look at churches- 500 years ago, church was a drastically different thing.  500 years before that- still drastically different.

You change in order to stay relevant.  It doesn't mean that you message loses relevance, but the medium you use to get that message across needs to be able to reach your audience effectively.  You wouldn't host a vegetarian rally next to a gun show (unless it is a protest, but that is entirely different).

So all in all- I like change.  This site has changed.  The "meat" of this will stay the same, but the plate it is on is looking pleasingly different.

And next time you face change- think about why that change occurred.  Did it change because it found a better way to reach its audience?
