It is Valentine's Day. You know what that means- men are hopelessly confused on how every woman says she doesn't care about Valentine's Day, but refuses to miss it. (obviously this is a stereotype, so please don't hurt me).

But it truly shows poor romance. Think about it- you are technically saying when you bring your lady flowers "I love you, and today is the one day out of 365 that I want to show you". Don't get me wrong, I go all out on the romance on Valentine's Day, but I do something big like that at least 4 times a year. (Not bragging, just stating).

I was given some great advise once, and that was too give your lady-friend one rose, just one, on Valentine's Day. The reason- she is expecting it. Don't show all your cards, gentlemen. Then, whenever you feel like treating her special, get her a dozen roses. She will be so thrilled that not only you thought of her- she was not expecting it, but that Valentine's Day will the last thing in her mind. Because she is expecting it on Valentine's Day, she will be thankful, and feel loved, but not as much as when she doesn't expect it.

If you want to show her you love her- don't make her write out directions to her heart. Memorize the way. It won't lead you astray.
